Eyewear & Milkshakes at Dilly Diner

We recently held a photoshoot at one of our favorite Tulsa diners, the Dilly Diner, and it was so much fun!  We partnered up with our friends at Black Sheep Boutique who sent the adorable Jayne.  I had the best time styling her in over ten unique eyewear looks for this photoshoot.  I have published some of my favorites in this post including a shot of myself wearing a great looking Tom Davies frame.  Don't be afraid to play with color in your wardrobe.  This pink cat eye looks amazing when paired with denim.      Shown above:  Dyker Heights by Born In Brooklyn    A matte black frame can be so versatile. It looks great dressed up, or when you are sporting...

Brooklyn Heights by Born In Brooklyn

My favorite frame from the Born In Brooklyn Spectacle Co. is a design called Brooklyn Heights, which is one that I personally own and wear regularly.  Named after an established and posh residential area of Brooklyn, this frame is a nice look that is a little bit hipster and a little bit preppy.  The keyhole bridge adds a retro touch, while the blue marble matte finish on the front gives it a trendy GQ look, especially since marble colors are on point for 2018 trends.  The tortoise shell temples keep it classy, and ensure you will look stylish and sophisticated at the office as well as when you meet up after work for drinks.  Now let's look at that hinge...

Born In Brooklyn Carroll Gardens

One thing I have come to love about the new Born In Brooklyn collection is that the acetate colors are rich with diversity.  This variety of color was very intentional from designer Tom Cody, as it represents the diversity of the people of Brooklyn.   We feature three beautiful color-ways in Carroll Gardens including the blue smoke color as seen above.  The shape is one a handful of cat-eyes available in the collection, and it is by far the easiest to wear as it cleanly follows along the brow-line with a little less thickness and than its' cat-eye companions Sunset Park and Kensington.   Click here to shop Carroll Gardens
