Bocca Senso 1 is Red Hot

One of the hottest cat-eye shapes in eyewear right now is the Bocca Senso 1 by Face A Face.  Designer Pascal Jaulent is channeling some of that 1950's true cat-eye design inspiration.  When you look at the detail of the shape you see that the upper temporal corners have been sculpted back.  You also see that the front is composed to two different red colors to really kick up the vibrancy and intensity of the color.  This frame in this red hot color is sizzling.   Click here to view Bocca Senso 1 in our web-store Click here to shop the rest of the Face A Face collection

Scott 1 by Face A Face

So, back when eyewear began trending towards metal frames I was really hoping that we would not see nearly everything go totally norm-core boring.  Thankfully creative design houses such as Face A Face have been playing with new types of metal materials and configurations to keep things interesting.   The new Scott 1 is one such design. I love the way the black rims contrast with the blue-grey bridge and temples.  I also love the way those colors work so well with my blazer.  I know some of you guys out there have a blazer too that looks something like mine that would love to be paired with this frame.  Yeah, did you know your blazer has needs too?  Pair it...

Adict 2 by Face A Face

It’s no secret that I have been addicted to Face A Face eyewear for many years, and today I am talking about a cute cat-eye shape called Adict 2.  The colors from the handmade Parisian collection are exquisite, but the beauty of a Face A Face frame is not the colors that go into it.  It is the way those colors are put together.  Alisha is wearing the Adict 2 in a beautiful black and white design.  When you look closely at the details you see that underneath the apparent chaos of the swirling blacks and whites are parallel lines of a crystal color that run diagonally from the top right to the bottom left of the frame front.  Eyewear...

Bocca Divine by Face A Face

The fifties and the sixties really gave us some sexy eyewear designs that are still with us today, and the cat-eye shape is one of them to be sure.  I don’t know if I can think of a time that I saw a cat-eye shape on a woman and it was not flattering to her face.  Just look at Marilyn Monroe pictured below.  (Image via Limited Runs) The cat-eye is already a sexy shape, and it just became a lot sexier.  How?  Enter Pascal Jaulent and his design studio at Face A Face in Paris.  Just take a look-see at the new Bocca Divine sunglass.  Jennifer is wearing the classic black and gold color.  The blue and gold is another...

Alium K3 by Face A Face

One of the best new ideas lately to come out of design house Face A Face Paris has been to expand on their Alium collection.  The brilliance of aluminum as a material is seen and felt when you try these on.  The simplicity of the metal look combined with light weight material creates a very comfortable, wearable piece of eyewear.  Today I am wearing the Alium K 3 in blue and brown which I feel is very appropriate to pair with casual attire.  Go for the black and silver combo if you don a suit during the week to spruce up your professional look.  There are a few other shapes and colorways in the new series that are quite fun. ...
