Sunglass Trends: Round and Vintage

This week I’m talking trends in sunglasses, and I’m looking at round and vintage.  These are two trends that have been blowing up the eyewear universe as of late, and I am excited to present my three current favorite representations of them.

I’m going to start with one of my favorite round frames at the moment, which is the Alium Ray 2 by Face A Face.  I love the flat brow bar and the round aluminum construction.  The matte black aluminum front with the polished black temples is dramatic and dressy.  The lenses are polarized in gradient grey, which will keep you comfortable while driving or at the beach.

My current favorite vintage look is the Melrose by Zero G.  This frame comes in some great colors, but I can’t get enough of this vintage glass color with the matte tortoiseshell temples. The Melrose also features the new Zero G riveted hinge system, and some great polarized lenses to keep your eyes relaxed so you can keep your cool.

The Tom Davies SG049 in retro brown is simple and stylish.  The keyhole bridge adds that nice vintage touch, and the cotton based acetate is hand crafted to form rich deep colors that are lightweight and easy on the skin.

All three of these styles are available in our store at Utica Square, or by shopping our online store.

Always remember to keep calm and put on some cool sunnies.
