Transitions Academy

I am all about continuing my optical education, which is why this cold Oklahoma February seemed like good time for a conference. A conference somewhere warm and sunny perhaps. So today I arrived in Orlando for Transitions Academy. You know that cool technology that makes it possible for us to enjoy prescription lenses that darken in the sun? Transitions makes a nice variety of different kinds of photochromic lenses. I am here learning about those and other optical related areas of study. I have to give Transitions props for hosting this event in the beautiful Rosen Shingle Creek hotel in sunny Orlando, FL. This place is beautiful! I am looking forward to the rest of my trip, and I plan on posting updates along the way.
